  I've been attending MCC for 8 years since I was in 8th grade. I grew up in the Youth Ministry and am now a leader in the ministry. I am even planning on getting married next summer at the church. I live with Pastor Todd and his wife. They are the same God honoring people in daily life as they are on a Sunday morning. This is a strongly rooted church, dedicated to sharing the love of Jesus with the city of Erie.

  The most doctrinally sound church in the area in my opinion. Loving atmosphere. Strong, humble leadership. This is a church where Christ is exalted!

  Pastor is long winded in the worst way; if you have a problem retaining information and need to be told the same thing numerous times or maybe need to have things retold to you by using slightly different words because you are incompetent, than this is a proper church for you. He has an immense lack of enthusiasm towards his presentation of Gods word, is horribly boring in speech, however he does seem portray liveliness merely by changing his pitch and tone. He also makes attempts to initiate suspense by taking long pauses. Spare Gil, the musicians sing like they don't want you to praise with them by going beyond the simplicity of the song. They may be on a stage but the congregations praise is equal to ours.

  This church is absolutely the most phenomenal church I have ever attended. Christ-centered, biblically-based, God-honoring. Pastor Todd has a heart for God and a heart to help others grow closer to Him, especially his congregation, and this is evident in his teaching and his life as he humbly leads MCC. I have never heard more unashamed, biblically sound preaching, with grace and truth evident in every sermon. I so appreciate Todd’s compassion and kindness mixed with a willingness to speak the truth in love. It’s not always easy to hear what he says, from the pulpit or personally, but you know his counsel and teaching come from a heart and life submitted to God and a love for you as part of his family in Christ. The congregation, people from all backgrounds and walks of life, serve from the abundance of joy that flows from lives submitted to Christ. The focus to “Know Him, Treasure Him, and Make Him Known” is evident in all areas and teaching, from the children’s classes to the adults’ bible studies. While you’ll never find a perfect church, I know the elders, pastors and members honestly seek Christ and in that commitment it makes it a great place to attend. We are thrilled to have found this church and be a part of the church family there.

  Great pastor with a great message every time! Never disappointed! Also, the worship is great, the people are wonderful, and the building is beautiful! Just as a side note, as a person learning sign language, the signing during the service is really neat to me!
